In 20+ years of enterprise-level technology deployment, project management, and service delivery excellence, I’ve built a reputation for “under-committing, then over-delivering” – achieving on-time and budget outcomes for global Fortune 500 organizations.

I am an accomplished IT Executive and business enabler, most recently the Service Delivery Director with bottom-line responsibility for global key account service delivery and $140M direct P&L.

I have also been an independent consultant, guiding corporate vision and strategic direction for large-scale global deployment, project management, and service delivery initiatives.

Setting and clearly communicating expectations, then consistently over-delivering is vital to my professional success – aligning aggressive targets with actionable plans, following through to successful, tangible completion.

With 11 years as a Regional Vice President at CarMax, Vaughn had major responsibility to ensure that his teams were performing at their best. When sales flattened for the company, Vaughn went to work and developed a sales process and training program that became a true game changer. Within 18 months of creating and implementing his new program at CarMax, close rates zoomed up more than 50{40176f29c9eb24a0382883b6aca87de1a5014a7f73e70911d26eb1998f35d0f7} and even more impressively, boosted company-wide revenues to over $13 billion in sales!

Vaughn believes in a collaborative team approach to solving problems. After introducing and implementing the concept of the “peer advisory council” at CarMax, Vaughn logically started his own version called “The Alternative Board” in Huntington Beach. He has now teamed with “Allen Training Centers” delivering real-world management training to all levels of a company’s management members. Knowing that real change starts at the top, his ATC “AlignUp® Program” allows the executive team of any company to finally remove their silos and become an aligned force that will achieve their company’s goals and vision.
